Fabrication of Zirconia/Silica/Benzothiazole Dyes Hybrid Materials for PET Fabrics Process

A series of some novel zirconia/silica/benzothiazole azo dyes hybrid materials prepared via sol-gel process with vinyltriethoxysilane as precursor has been synthesized from zirconium n-propoxide and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) with thiazole azo dyes. Alternatively, the benzothiazole azo dyes processed with hydrolysis-condensation reaction by the constant ratio of vinyltriethoxysilane and zirconium n-propoxide and tetraethyl orthosilicate in appropriate proportion under catalyst. The surface morphology of processed PET fabrics was evaluated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The water contact angle and air permeability characteristics of the as-prepared dyed PET fabrics were subsequently evaluated.
本研究主要是利用溶膠-凝膠法將二氧化鋯、二氧化矽與苯并噻唑染料進行製備混成材料。利用N,N-二甲基苯胺當作偶合鹽,與重氮鹽苯并噻唑單體於冰浴下行偶合反應,製得苯并噻唑染料。將苯并噻唑染料與乙烯基三乙氧基矽烷(VTES)反應當作前驅體,進而將前驅體與不同比例的正丙醇鋯以及前驅體與不同比例的正丙醇鋯及四乙氧基矽烷,反應中先產生水解之後再行聚縮合反應製得混成材,製得之二氧化鋯、二氧化矽與苯并噻唑染料之混成材料。藉由SEM 觀察PET加工織物其表面形貌。將製備所得之混成材分別對聚酯(織物進行染色加工。進而對各加工染織物探討其接觸角與撥水度等各項物性。
