Fabrication of OTES/Thiodiazole Azo Dyes Hybrid Materials for PTT Fabrics Process

A series of some novel hybrid materials prepared via sol-gel process has been synthesized from n-octyltriethoxysilane as precursors and heterocyclic 1,3,4-thiadiazole azo dyes. The start material 1,3,4-thiadiazole was synthesized from formic acid and thiosemicarbazide in reflux to get the 1,3,4-thiadiazole. The 1,3,4-thiadiazole regards as coupling component were coupled with p-nitro aniline aniline as diazo component at ice bath, to give the heterocyclic 1,3,4-thiadiazole azo dyes. OTES/1,3,4-thiadiazole azo dyes hybrid materials were synthesized via sol-gel process with precursor system. Alternatively, the heterocyclic 1,3,4-thiadiazole azo dyes processed with hydrolysis-condensation reaction by vinyltriethoxysilane and OTES in appropriate proportion under catalyst. The uniform dyeing of the polyester fabric revealed by the scanning electron microscope images confirmed the reaction of the hybrid materials with the polyester fabrics. The water repellent properties and characteristics of dyed PTT fabrics were evaluated.
本研究主要利用溶膠-凝膠法將辛基三乙氧基矽烷(OTES)與噻二唑偶氮染料製備一系列之辛基側鏈二氧化矽/噻二唑偶氮染料混成材。先利用濃鹽酸、甲酸及硫代胺脲加熱迴流方式反應製備合成中間體2-胺基-1,3,4-噻二唑,將其視為偶合鹽,以對硝基苯胺及對甲氧基苯胺為重氮鹽,兩者在冰浴下行重氮反應合成一系列1,3,4噻二唑偶氮染料。進而將染料以一定比例之乙烯基三乙氧基矽烷(VTES)與OTES產生水解聚縮合反應,製得辛基側鏈二氧化矽/噻二唑偶氮染料混成材。藉由SEM
