A Research on the Learning Behavior of Students In Sewing Classes from the Department of Clothing in Vocational High Schools in Kaohsiung City
高雄市高職服裝科學生對縫紉技能課程學習行為相關之研究

This research aims to explore students from the department of clothing taking sewing classes in vocational high schools. Learning behaviors of the students were investigated in order to know how students from various backgrounds differ in learning. The students in this research are from the department of clothing in vocational high schools in Kaohsiung city. Purposive sample was employed when distributing the surveys to the survey respondents. Among all the questionnaires, 333 of them (93 %) were valid. Statistics was employed to analyze the questionnaires and the results are as follows: 1. According to the analysis, most of the students from junior classes take 6 hours of sewing course per week (43.8%). Furthermore, when investigating students’ performances in achieving the certificates in clothing design, 194 students (58.3%) have not achieved the two certificates in clothing design yet, while 134 students (40.2%) have got one of the certificates in women's clothes design. The result is due to the reason that many students from junior classes have not yet achieved their certificates in women's clothing design yet. 2. When analyzing the questionnaires filled out by students from different levels of classes, there were significant differences among them in the aspect of “problems encountered when taking sewing courses.” 3. According to Scheffe's post hoc comparisons on “learning motivation” and “learning habit” of sewing skill learning behavior, high grade students are greater than low grade students. This is because high grade students think that taking sewing courses will benefit their future career planning. We expect that our future research will benefit people from the clothing industry.
本文主要是針對高職服裝科學生修讀縫紉技能課程之現況,探討其縫紉技能課程學習行為之相關研究,並從中了解不同背景學生其學習差異之情形。研究對象以高雄市某高職服裝科學校學生為對象,並採立意抽樣方式進行問卷調查,其有效問卷為333份(93%)。爾後經由透過統計分析,其研究結果如下: 1.樣本資料經結果得知,高職生每週上縫紉課之時數之分佈情形,低年級每週上縫紉課以「6小時」為最多146 人占(43.8%);另外,高職生取得服裝相關證照之分佈情形,以取得服裝相關證照部分以「兩者尚未取得」為居多194人占(58.3%),其次是女裝丙級134人占(40.2%),其主要因低年級尚未取得取女裝證照。 2.不同年級的學生,縫紉技能課程學習行為在「學習困擾」構面,皆有達顯著之差異。 3.不同生涯規劃的學生,在縫紉技能學習行為方面,經由雪費事後比較在「學習動機」、「學習習慣」之構面,皆升學及就業居多,其主要因素學生認為學習縫紉技能課程對未來生涯規劃有所幫助。另,期望本研究成果能對服裝產業職場人才需求有所助益
