A Study of the Relationship between the Innovative Design of Taiwanese Phalaenopsis and Clothing Purchase Attitude

The purpose of this study is to redesign innovative Taiwanese Phalaenopsis based on the principle of bionic design that applied on the clothing, and also to investigate the clothing purchase attitudes of consumers toward the redesigned innovative Taiwanese phalaenopsis. The study was divided into two stages. First stage was using Taiwanese Phalaenopsis based on bionic design to create the innovative design clothing. And, 6 representative innovative design clothing of Taiwan Phalaenopsis were selected. The second stage was used the result of the first stage to investigate the consumers’ clothing purchase attitudes toward the 6 representative innovative design clothing of Taiwan Phalaenopsis. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect the data. The Total 500 questionnaires were released, 463 questionnaires were taken back, and 444 questionnaires were valid. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the attitudes toward the innovative design clothing of Taiwan Phalaenopsis between the different genders. And there was the significant difference in the clothing purchase attitudes of the consumers who are under different educational levels toward the innovative design clothing of Taiwan Phalaenopsis;In addition, there was the significant difference in the clothing purchase attitudes of the consumers who are under different occupations toward the innovative design clothing of Taiwan Phalaenopsis.
本研究主要目的是以台灣蝴蝶蘭作為仿生設計之設計發想起源,再設計轉換收斂應用於服飾設計以探討消費者對於蝴蝶蘭文化創意服飾商品的購買態度。研究分為二階段進行,在第一階段進行蝴蝶蘭文化創意服飾商品創作,篩選出6件代表台灣蝴蝶蘭的創新設計之服裝設計圖;第二階段則以承接上階段研究結果,探討消費者對台灣蝴蝶蘭文化創意服飾商品購買態度。以問卷調查方式進行,共發出問卷500份,回收463份,有效問卷444份。研究結果發現:不同性別之消費者對於台灣蝴蝶蘭文化創意服飾商品購買態度沒有顯著差異;不同教育程度之消費者對於台灣蝴蝶蘭文化創意服飾商品購買態度有顯著差異;不同職業之消費者對於台灣蝴蝶蘭文化創意服飾商品購買態度有顯著差異。
