The Effect of Culture Properties of NaOH Treated Luffa Culture Medium Added Calcium Aleinate
鹼處理絲瓜栽培介質添加海藻酸鈉對其栽培性質之影響

In this study, utilization of the sodium hydroxide aqueous solution of alkali treatment Luffa Cultivation Media (LCM). To remove the fiber surface impurities, increase the fiber specific surface area. Adding sodium alginate solution and calcium chloride solution to solidify the shape to make LCM. This research investigated the various concentration of sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH) treatment and sodium alginate solution add. And then discussion the important factors of culture properties. The results indicated that the sodium hydroxide solution treated samples better than untreated LCM, The results indicated that the sodium hydroxide solution treated samples the moisture content and water retention has increased significantly. Especially, LCM after the condition of 2% NaOH treated. Adding sodium alginate solution the samples, the value of pH and EC were 6.0 ~ 6.5 and 0.6 ~ 1.6 ms / cm respectively. Compare add sodium alginate solution for the sample with other cultivation media, suitable for normal plant cultivation conditions.
本研究系利用氫氧化鈉水溶液對絲瓜纖維進行鹼處理,去除表面不純物,增進纖維比表面積,並添加海藻酸鈉且以氯化鈣固形製作出絲瓜栽培介質(LCM)。探討不同濃度的氫氧化鈉水溶液鹼處理及添加不同濃度海藻酸鈣,對無土栽培性質的影響。實驗結果顯示,經氫氧化鈉水溶液鹼處理的絲瓜栽培介質能提升含水率及保水率,其中2%氫氧化鈉為最佳;且添加海藻酸鈉後之pH值為6.0~6.5,EC值為0.6~1.6 mS/cm,與其他介質比較栽培性質,皆符合一般植物栽培的環境條件。
