Biodegradable Sphagnum Moss Preparation and Feasibility Study Used in Plant Cultivation

In this study, the development of a biodegradable sphagnum, cultivated orchids can be applied to the growth medium. Paper to explore the different ratio of sodium alginate added to the culture medium starch glue the maximum water content of sphagnum moss and the rate of water. The results show, by the starch gel can be prepared by mixing sodium alginate with good water retention properties of water and artificial sphagnum. Which 2ml of 4% sodium alginate and foaming agent obtained by the maximum water content of artificial sphagnum 98.2%, add up to the appearance of starch gel forming and water stability. The results confirmed that 2% when the good stability of starch gel, but it will decrease to 97% moisture content is still comply with the general culture medium of the moisture content of up to 13.4 hours and the water, better than the 5.9 hours of natural sphagnum. Colloidal synthesis of the added value given to the test pH and EC in plant growth conditions are within the range of values, And samples after 98% decomposition of this study at 41 weeks.
本研究係開發一種生物可分解性的水苔,可應用於栽培蘭科植物生長的介質。文中探討在海藻酸鈉中添加不同比例之澱粉膠對栽培介質水苔的最大含水率及保水率之影響。結果顯示,由海藻酸鈉混合澱粉膠可製備出具有良好吸水及保水特性之人工水苔,其中4%海藻膠及2ml起泡劑所製得之人工水苔最大含水率可達98.2%,再添加澱粉膠可達外觀成型及保水穩定性。結果證實在添加2% 澱粉膠時穩定性佳,但其含水率會降至97% 但仍符合一般栽培介質之含水量範圍且保水可達13.4hr,優於天然水苔的5.9 hr。綜合所添加膠體給予pH及EC值測試亦在植物生長條件範圍值內,且本研究之樣本於41週後生物分解率可達98%。
